Super Rope Cinch Goes Into Walmart Canada
Walmart Canada will begin carrying the USA-made Super Rope Cinch in March 2013.
The Super Rope Cinch will be introduced to Canada Walmart stores through distribution gained from a multi-sku hardware distributor.
The challenge of bringing the Super Rope Cinch into some of the retail giants such as Walmart has been difficult due to Just Right Products LLC being perceived as a “single sku company”. Some larger retail outlets prefer working with companies who have multiple products or “sku’s”as they are referred to. To solve this issue, the Super Rope Cinch is now being distributed through a distribution company who sells hundreds of hardware products to the Walmart stores in Canada.
Look for the Super Rope Cinch on the shelves in your local Walmart Canada stores this March of 2013.

Super Rope Cinch Now Selling at Meeks Lumber Stores in California and Nevada
The Super Rope Cinch device that ties and unties rope without using a knot, has just arrived at all Meeks Lumber stores in California and Nevada. The award-winning rope securing device has become a favorite with men, women and children needing to secure items with rope since it replaces the need for tying and untying knots. The device is commonly used for securing boats, cargo, tents, luggage, and even small aircraft. In addition to selling at retail stores, the patented Super Rope Cinch has also become a favorite fundraising tool for the Boy Scouts of America.
The increasingly-popular Super Rope Cinch knot-tying device won the prestigious Do It Best Members’ Choice Award at last Fall’s Do It Best Dealer Market. Since that time, many large retail chains like Meeks Lumber and Walmart have begun retailing the product.
The Super Rope Cinch is manufactured in the USA by Just Right Products LLC. The rope-locking device performs the simplest of tasks: It ties and unties ropes without using a knot. “Now, anyone can secure items with rope, even if they’ve never tied a knot before. No more messy knots, or having to cut good rope when it’s get stuck. Even wet rope is no challenge for the Super Rope Cinch”, according to Tim Bourke, president of Just Right Products LLC.
Securing ropes with the Super Rope Cinch is simple: Insert the rope or ropes, hold the base and twist the top until locked. When it’s time to untie the load, just press the release button and twist. The ropes easily slide out of the device. The device works with any combination of ropes from 1/8″ to 5/8″ in diameter. It can also create a adjustable-length rope without using a knot – a task many people find nearly impossible.
A list of Super Rope Cinch retailers including all Meeks Lumber locations is available at www.SuperRopeCinch.com.

Super Rope Cinch Poses Threat to Knotting Tradition at Boy Scouts of America
The Super Rope Cinch knot-tying device has caused quite a stir in the Boy Scouts of America lately. Many older scouts and troop leaders see the knot-tying device as a threat to the long-time tradition of learning to tie knots. The Boy Scouts of America currently sell the Super Rope Cinch as a fundraising tool in addition to selling popcorn.
According to Tim Bourke, Vice President of Just Right Products LLC, “Unfortunately, there has been much confusion as to what the Super Rope Cinch is to be used for within the Boy Scouts of America. It was never meant to replace the need for Scouts to learn their knots. It is meant to be used only as a fundraising tool. The Super Rope Cinch offers a low-cost, high-volume solution to Scouts wanting to raise money for camp. With a low, $5 retail price, it also presents a great value to consumers. After all, who better than the Scouts to offer a knot-tying solution to the public? Scouts are synonymous with tying knots.”

Today, October 1, 2012, the Naples Daily News published the preliminary interview with Super Rope Cinch inventor, Tim Bourke. The online article will be followed by a printed news story in the Naples Daily News, scheduled to hit newsstands later this week.
The NaplesNews.com Article: (Click here for the full version)
OCTOBER 1, 2012 – ESTERO — One morning, Timothy Bourke found himself sitting in pitch-black darkness on his deck in Lake Orion, Mich., sipping coffee with a piece of rope in one of his hands.
Questions rushed to his mind, as they often do: “Why do we have to tie knots? What is that?” he asked himself.
Those questions led him to his latest invention. Bourke, who relocated to Estero in January 2011, created the Super Rope Cinch, a device that locks rope in its place, without the need to tie a knot.
The patented invention is now sold online and in thousands of hardware and marine stores nationwide and overseas. Retail giant Walmart will soon roll it out, testing it at a store near its headquarters in Arkansas, Bourke said.
Bourke, 51, president and lead inventor for Just Right Products LLC, has six patents and he’s working on his seventh and eighth. For him, thinking up ideas is the easy part.

The Super Rope Cinch has been gaining more attention than could possibly be expected. Drew Bourke, VP of Just Right Products LLC lives just outside of Nashville, and was able to provide the interview that will printed in one of next week’s issues.
And, good press seems to lead to more good press. Today, The Naples Daily News contacted Just Right Products LLC and has scheduled an interview with Tim Bourke, President of Just Right Products LLC. This article will feature Tim explaining how he invented the Super Rope Cinch, and also the sudden success of the device.
Walmart Says “YES” to Retailing Super Rope Cinch!
On Wednesday, September 12, Just Right Products LLC met with buyers at Walmart headquarters in Bentonville Arkansas to discuss national distribution of the patented Super Rope Cinch knot tying device. Walmart happily agreed to distribute the Super Rope Cinch and will begin retailing the rope-securing device in their rope and chain isle in early 2013.
New 12-Pack Full-Color Tray Makes Super Rope Cinch a Standout in Stores
If you been down the rope & chain isle anytime recently, you already know this – There are few products that jump off the shelves with vibrant packaging. Most products are simply stacked on shelves or delivered in bulk by spools. Well, all of that is about to change.
The new Super Rope Cinch 12-Pack “Point of Purchase” tray begins shipping this week, and it’s going to bring color to an otherwise black and white are in most hardware and marine stores.
Just Right Products LLC hired a professional packaging design company to redesign the latest tray, in hopes that it stands out and attracts more buyers who might otherwise buy rope & chain and continue on to the register.
The new P.O.P. tray was designed using a 4/4 color process that is vibrant when compared to most other products in it the same category. Not only will the new 12-pack tray sell more Super Rope Cinch’s, it is also expected to sell more rope, since the device works with 1/8″ to 5/8″ rope. Selling more rope is a side benefit retailers are happily accepting.

Read MoreWalMart Again Considering National Distribution of Super Rope Cinch
On September 12, 2012, Just Right Products LLC will again gather in Bentonville, Arkansas with Wal-Mart’s (aka: WalMart) buyers to discuss future distribution of the patented Super Rope Cinch knot-tying device. This will mark the second visit with the retail giant where distribution of the popular rope-securing device will be discussed.
In addition to two meetings at the Wal-Mart Bentonville, Arkansas headquarters, the Super Rope Cinch boating and hardware device was first presented in southeast Michigan at the regional level to eight stores, a regional manager and a district manager in October 2010. The device was presented to the group where it received eight out of eight written store approvals, along with signatures from both the regional and district managers. Store-level and regional approval can be just one of many steps required to gain national distribution with the nation’s largest retailer.
Just Right Products LLC again spoke with Wal-Mart in June 2011, shortly after attending the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas where the Super Rope Cinch gained a lot of attention and picked up hundreds of new retailers. As Just Right Products LLC would then find out, timing is also a key ingredient to gaining distribution. At the time, Just Right Products LLC was told by another hardware product provider that Wal-Mart may be in the middle of eliminating thousands of products to make room for both faster-moving, and newer, more innovative products. Coincidentally, Wal-Mart told Just Right Products LLC the timing was not yet right for the rope-securing device.
According to Drew Bourke, vice president of Just Right Products LLC, “We have to trust that Wal-Mart will agree distribute the Super Rope Cinch when the timing is right for them. Obviously, they look to see if the product is moving elsewhere, and our strong sales are proving that our product leaves the shelves quickly. Placement at Wal-Mart will be a key ingredient for us.”
Another item that Just Right Products LLC hopes to discuss with Wal-Mart is the fairly new Wal-Mart TV in-store video promotion. Wal-Mart uses a small LCD panel TV positioned in-front of featured products to help educate consumers on their usage and also increase sales. Just Right Products LLC currently provides a free 60-second loop DVD TV commercial to all of its retailers that utilize in-store video. According to stats published by Wal-Mart in 2012, Wal-Mart TV can increase sales 53% on most any product it is used on.

The Super Rope Cinch device, known for tying and untying knots, used instead of tying a cleat hitch or clove hitch knot for boat lines, has secured a new manufacturer located in Irving, Texas, just 10 miles from their packaging facility. AP Enterprises received the 1500 pound multi-cavity injection mould just two weeks ago, and has already produced the finest example of the Super Rope Cinch to date.
The change came after over one year of production woes and quality control issues at the previous manufacturer. Just Right Products LLC quality control standards were simply not met on some occasions, forcing the company to manually check almost 35,000 parts by hand, before re-packing and re-shipping to their fulfillment warehouse in Grand Prairie, Texas.
The locking capability was never in question, but the difficulty in turning the device was stiff at times. The new-improved Super Rope Cinch is the easiest to operate, most devices now turning with than 4 lbs. torque. So easy in fact, most anyone can use the device to tie and untie ropes.

The Super Rope Cinch® can hold a great amount of vertical or horizontal pressure, yet can be tied and untied in less than one second with a simple twist. The Happy Handyman’s Full Review
Some of the neatest items that I find at the International Hardware Show or the Do It Best Show are always some of the simplest things.
They always win awards, and I am left thinking, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Instead, I am the hardware guy who tells you about it! And the product I want to tell you about today is called The Rope Cinch. Every guy at the hardware show bought some. If you need to use a rope to tie down a load on your truck (say you are moving) or you are at the lake and you are tying up the boat you will love The Rope Cinch. It’s easy to use, will hold up to 750 pounds, it’s waterproof and it’s less than $4. Just thread your rope through The Rope Cinch, and give The Rope Cinch a twist. That’s it … remains where you need it until you apply pressure to it and un-twist it. So anytime you have been using a bungy cord to tie stuff down, and you need just one more, or you have tied a knot in your rope so tight you can’t get it out … that is when you need The Rope Cinch. I just threw a couple in the back of my truck and now I don’t need to worry. It’s especially great for a women … think of all the times that you needed to secure down the trunk, and had to tie a knot … not anymore. And … it’s made in the Good Old USA!

Super Rope Cinch Flies High at Sebring
What does the Super Rope Cinch have in common with aviation? Quite a lot, actually. Aviation enthusiasts are quickly adapting the Super Rope Cinch as their preferred tie-down device for personal aircraft. Not only does the Super Rope Cinch hold the aircraft in-place, but the bright red color lets pilot’s and
FBO’s know from a distance, whether or not a plane is secured to the tarmac. Just Right Product’s own Tim Bourke and Jeff Smith just attended the Sebring airshow this past weekend, and are scheduled to attend more than six major airshows this Spring.

Good Press on the Super Rope Cinch
While navigating the web today, I found some really great press about our Super Rope Cinch. Here are just a couple articles I found. What a great feeling to have invented something that people not only like, but also knowing it solves a problem that has existed for hundreds of years. Take a read:

Just Right Products has created a unique knot tying device named the Super Rope Cinch.
The Super Rope Cinch replaces the need to tie and untie knots when you have the need to secure rope. It allows anyone to secure rope with a simple twist. And, you can un-secure rope with a simple twist as well. Twisting the device counter-turns two cylindrical holes to bind (and unbind) rope. The Super Rope Cinch was tested at 750 lbs. without failure. According to Just Right Products, it’s more likely that the rope will break before the Super Rope Cinch fails. The disclaimer on the Rope Cinch is “Not to exceed 10% of SWL”. What this means is this: Do not use the device for anything more than what the rope will hold! The device can hold much more than it’s disclaimer says it will, but safety is always the #1 concern. The Super Rope Cinch is made from automotive-grade Acetal, a plastic resin known for its incredibly strong properties. This product solves the simplest of problems – Tying and untying a good knot. Use the Super Rope Cinch for boating, tools, cargo, luggage, towing, hammocks, and about 10,000 other uses.

Sometimes a product “finds it’s actual use” doing something other than what you first imagined. When I designed the Super Rope Cinch in 2008 I thought it would be used mostly for boating. Since I love watersports, I envisioned the Super Rope Cinch being used for tying up a boat, securing a jet ski to a dock, etc… As it turns out, there’s a million uses for this product that have nothing to do with boating. (Even better!) Another design element that’s changing is the size. I started with 1/2″ and 5/8″ rope in mind, but have since designed a smaller, Mini Rope Cinch. It may turn out that the Mini Rope Cinch is the one that consumers will purchase more often. Plus, it’s a great product to sell at the register in a fishbowl. People use 1/4″ rope for so many things like tie downs for tents, holding their trunk closed when moving a big item, etc… It’s little changes like this that can have a HUGE impact with your products. Don’t get stuck on what YOU think the product should do, let consumer’s tell you what they want to use it for and go from there.
